As a consummate cook, and artist, Camine also enjoys traveling, reading and decorating. She is an advanced appreciator of wine and established the women's group, Networking, Women and Wine in 2007 to facilitate meaningful connections through authentic friendships, and wine education, which boasts a following of over 600 women.
Educated at Utah State University majoring in music and broadcasting, and married to Ron Pappas since 1988, (to whom she dedicated this book), "Among the Fallen Stars" is her first novel.
Although it is purely fiction, it reflects a lifetime of thought and belief about how we find ourselves living a life that seems so far away from what we might have planned. Cursing the stars, convinced we are on a journey that seems out of place, we forget that we are a part of all their light and wisdom. In reality we are exactly where we are all meant to be with all the power already within us that we long for.
